Support & Contact
When You Reach Out, We Answer
You will not reach a chatbot. You will not be routed to a call centre in another country. You will not receive an auto-reply promising that someone will "get back to you within 48-72 hours."
You will reach us. Here. In Sri Lanka. People who understand how Sri Lankan law works, how Sri Lankan lawyers practise, and what it means when you need an answer before tomorrow's hearing.
Call Us Directly
+94 77 755 2555
We answer between 8:30am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
If you reach us outside these hours, leave a message. We'll return your call the next morning — not the next week, not when we "get around to it." The next morning.
Write To Us
We respond within one working day. Usually sooner.
Some matters are better handled in writing — and we understand that a lawyer's day does not always permit the interruption of a phone call. Write when it suits you. We'll reply with the same care we'd give a conversation.
We'll Call You
If you prefer, leave your details and we'll come to you.
Why We Built Support This Way
You have, at some point in your career, submitted a support ticket to a foreign software platform.
You know what happened next. An automated acknowledgment. A ticket number you never asked for. Perhaps, days later, a response from someone who had clearly never heard of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, suggesting you "try clearing your browser cache" or linking you to a help article written for American or Indian users navigating American or Indian problems.
We built Lex differently because we have been on the receiving end of that experience, and we found it intolerable.
A legal research platform must understand the law it searches. But it must also understand the lawyers who use it — their pressures, their deadlines, the particular frustrations of practising in a jurisdiction that international technology companies treat as an afterthought when they remember it exists at all.
Sri Lankan. Human. Here.
Lex is designed, built, and supported entirely in Sri Lanka.
This was not the cheapest option. It was not the most "scalable" option, in the language beloved of technology companies. It was simply the correct option.
When you call, you will speak with someone who knows what the Court of Appeal expects. When you write, you will receive a reply from someone who understands why a Thesawalamai question is not the same as a general law question. When you encounter a problem, you will work with someone who grasps why it matters that you solve it before the registrar's deadline.
We are not a foreign platform that has graciously condescended to include Sri Lanka in its list of "supported regions." We are not an abandoned machine, built by people who have since moved on to other projects, other markets, other enthusiasms.
We are here. We answer. We speak your language — in every sense that matters.
What Support Includes
When you reach out to us, we can help with:
- Questions about how to use the platform
- Guidance on constructing effective searches
- Clarification on sources, coverage, and archive contents
- Technical assistance with access, accounts, and functionality
We do not provide legal advice — you are the lawyer, not us — but we will do everything in our power to ensure that Lex serves your practice as it was designed to serve.
The archive is vast. The support is human. The commitment is Sri Lankan ෴
